Preschool/Pre-K Classroom

Welcome to our vibrant and engaging classroom, where curiosity and creativity take center stage! Our program is designed for children aged three to five years old, offering an exciting and nurturing environment that prepares them for a successful transition to kindergarten.

In our classroom, we follow a comprehensive curriculum that balances play-based learning with structured activities. Learning centers are thoughtfully arranged with stimulating materials, books, and educational games, fostering hands-on exploration and imaginative play.

Our dedicated educators are passionate about guiding these young learners through their crucial pre-kindergarten year. They focus on developing essential skills like early literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and social interaction, setting the stage for a strong educational foundation.

We encourage each child’s natural curiosity, providing ample opportunities for asking questions, making discoveries, and expressing their thoughts and feelings. As they engage in age-appropriate challenges, children grow in confidence and independence.

In our inclusive and supportive classroom community, children learn to work collaboratively, respect diversity, and embrace kindness. Social-emotional growth is a cornerstone of our program, nurturing the development of empathy, self-regulation, and positive relationships.

Safety is our top priority, and we maintain a secure and well-organized environment that promotes exploration while ensuring the well-being of every child.

As the gateway to formal education, our classroom is a place where young minds flourish, friendships blossom, and a love for learning blooms. We are committed to making this pre-kindergarten journey a delightful and enriching experience, setting the stage for a successful transition to the exciting world of kindergarten and beyond.

What are your hours of operation?

What is your teacher-to-child ratio's in each classrom?

At the Monarch Center, we believe that every child deserves individualized attention and care. That’s why we maintain a lower teacher-to-child ratio than the recommended state ratios. This allows our teachers to provide more personalized support and guidance to each child in their group or classroom. Our goal is to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive and grow.

Are meals and snacks provided?

At The Monarch Center, we believe that a healthy diet is essential for your child’s growth and development. That’s why we provide a variety of nutritious meals and snacks to keep your child energized throughout the day. Our meals are included in the cost of tuition and are made in partnership with The Oxford Center.

We understand that some children may have dietary restrictions due to allergies or other reasons. Therefore, all our meals are Gluten-Free and we offer other allergy selections like Nut-Free, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, etc. We also provide a weekly lunch menu so that you can see what your child will be eating.

Please visit our Lunch Program page for more information on our meal program.

Do you offer part-time or drop-in care options?

We offer part-time care schedules (pending availability). We do not offer drop-in care options at this time.
